Recent Forecastle Festival rising star Trixie Whitley will perform at Zanzabar on Tuesday, November 13, with opener Cheyenne Marie Mize. Whitley was the singer for Daniel Lanois’ Black Dub band, and sees her first full-length album come this fall. $10 tickets will be available from Ticketfly.com, or contact Zanzabar to get them IRL.

Phantogram (pictured) plays Zanzabar on Sunday, Sept. 26, for an evening of defying expectations. Their album “Eyelid Movies” (out now on Barsuk) shows them to be an indie-flavored, trip-hop influenced duo.
