ANTI, ROIR post free samplers for download

Anti, the label that brings you Franti, Neko, Mould and Whitmore, has posted its Fall 2008 label sampler for free download here. ROIR has posted a punk favorites comp titled “So Indie It Hurts.” The set includes “Big Takeover” by Bad Brains, as well as songs from Johnny Thunders, The Dickies, Dub Trio and more.

R.I.P. Mitch Mitchell

Mitch Mitchell, the legendary drummer and last surviving member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, was found dead today in his hotel room. Go here for the AP article.
