Ben Sollee funds the arts

Ben Sollee will perform at the Fund for the Arts’ “Annual Arts Showcase” on Tuesday, Jan. 29th, from noon to 1  p.m.

The free showcase will be held at the Brown Theater. Additional performances from the Kentucky Opera, Actors Theatre, the Louisville Orchestra, Stage One Family Theatre, and more will also be  presented.

Sollee will also spend some of his day presenting his short film, On Playing a Wooden Box, made possible through support from the FFTA.

“It’s a project of passion,” said Sollee in a statement. “A chat and a short piece sounds like a great way to spend a January afternoon.”

The event will also feature a free boxed lunch. For more information visit rsvp.fundforthearts.com.
