Their new EP Stupid Things is merely a tease of what long-running New York indie rockers Yo La Tengo are planning to unfurl early next year. Around that time, they will bring their  show to the Brown Theater, with fellow vets Calexico (whose latest LP, Algiers, is one of the finest of this  year).
