Fishbone swims to Headliners in September

Legendary – and legendarily troubled – ska/punk/soul/funk/rock L.A. band Fishbone, seen recently in the career-spanning documentary Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone, will perform at Headliners Music Hall on September 8th.

Loudon Wainwright III will sing at the library

On Sunday, August 26, at 7 p.m., singer/songwriter/actor/father/ex-husband Loudon Wainwright III will perform at the downtown branch of the Louisville Free Public Library. Tickets will become available on Tuesday, July 17, at 9 a.m. from LFPL.org or 574-1644. Only 2 tickets will go to each applicant.

Trampled By Turtles is coming to Louisville – twice

If, for some horrible reason, you miss tomorrow night’s “Waterfront Wednesday” (presented by WFPK), there’s some relief: Trampled By Turtles will play Headliners Music Hall on Thursday, October 18th (but not for free).

Weird Al is coming back to us!

Sunday, October 14, is the next time you can expect to see “Weird Al” Yankovic live in Louisville. The King of Comedy will perform at the Louisville Palace at 7 p.m.
