Country troubadour Clark Absher’s song “Chasing The Sky” was named “Choice of the Week” on cmrnashville.net’s Country Cafe program.

Absher is seven songsdeep into his sophomore album, and he’s got some help from Joel Timothy, but Absher has posted the first five on his MySpace page.

If his music career doesn’t work out, looks like Absher’s acting skills are in demand: He was filmed for “Southern Belles,” a reality show filmed in Louisville that will air on Soapnet.
