Freakwater, whose founders include Janet Bean and Louisville native Catherine Irwin, join Andrew Bird, Tortoise, Waco Brothers, Icy Demons and others at the Jan. 19 “Big Shoulders Inauguration Ball” at The Black Cat’s main stage in D.C. Showtime is 7 p.m., and tickets are $50.
